My main interest is in botany,
although I am also interested in animal behaviour and ecology/conservation in
general. Here are a selection of links that I have found, please feel free to
mail me if you find any more
interesting links

evolutionary biologist and author, has re-worked many of Dawin's original
theories
David
Bellamy legendary conservationist and campaigner - his TV series got me
into plants, should have a website in his own right - maybe my next project
Richard Dawkins sometimes
controversial but very sharp evolutionary biologist
Carl Linnaeus
The father of plant taxonomy, inventing the Latin binomial system for plants and
animals. He was responsible for naming many species e.g. Scots Pine - Pinus

will need to publish this in Latin) and name a new species a shortened version
of your name will appear after the binomial as you are the authority on that
name David
Attenborough the voice of TV natural history
Rachel Carson founder of the modern
environmental movement and writer of Silent Spring
